Missouri governor Greitens under criminal investigation
A police officer has been injured Thursday but is in stable condition after a shooting in North Kansas City, officials say. The incident began in the 1600 block of Redbud Lane when officers were looking for a suspect who allegedly threatened someone at another location, NKC Police Officer Kevin Freeman said.

The Kansas City Police Department is on the scene at an officer-involved shooting at the Citadel Apartments, which are located near The Paseo and 61st Street. KCPD Capt. The Richland County Sheriff's Department responded to a shots fired call in the 100 block of Sutton Way. Richland County Coroner Gary Watts has pronounced two male victims dead at the scene of a double homicide. The third victim is at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in serious condition.
