Kansas City police are looking for a man who ran down another man before shooting him in the parking lot of the Ward Parkway Center Wednesday night. The shooting happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. Police say the victim, an African-American man in his 20s, had just come out of the Genesis Health Clubs facility, located near Ward Parkway and W 87th Street, when another man began chasing him. The man ran about 100 yards before he was shot by the suspect.

Police are investigating at least three robberies near a MetroLink station in Wellston Monday night. Police say they caught the suspects, who were waiting around for more victims
Four people were injured in a hit-and-run accident Wednesday morning in north St. Louis. They were struck by the driver around 1 a.m., sitting inside a parked car on Bessie Avenue near North Taylor. All four victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. There is no word on their conditions at this time.
Police say a suspect has been arrested in the two non-fatal shootings that happened in the Northland last Friday night. The individual is also a person of interest in the homicide on Barry Road and N. Marsten, which was the shooting death of Russell J. Fisk.

A man is in critical condition after being struck by two vehicles after stepping off a bus. Police say the man left a RideKC bus Thursday morning in central Kansas City. Sgt. Bill Mahoney says the man tried to rush across the street and was struck by an eastbound vehicle.
