One Clinton police officer has been killed and 2 other officers were injured Tuesday night in a shooting. Sgt. Bill Lowe said around 9:20 p.m., Clinton County 911 received a call from a home near S. Orchard and W. Ohio Street, in which the phone line was left open and two women were heard screaming in the background. Three officers were shot responding to the scene.

Kansas City, Missouri police say 24-year-old Taron Carson was sitting on a bus near the intersection of 39th and Main, when a dark-colored vehicle stopped on the street. The suspects got out, shot Carson several times, then sped off. Carson later died at a Metro hospital.

An early morning shooting in downtown St. Louis left three people injured mere blocks away from City Museum.
