House fire in DeSoto, Mo. kills 4, badly burns 2 others. The two survivors were taken to separate burn centers in St. Louis while crews battled the four-alarm blaze and searched for those still inside. Four adults were found dead, along with the family dog.

An MTA bus driver was fatally shot in the 1200 block of E Fayette Street. Police learned that the victim and the suspect, a passenger on the bus, were arguing when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim. The suspect fled on foot and was able to elude police
