There has been an officer involved shooting at 52nd and Olive. Officers were called on a disturbance call and shots were fired. A male was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries and declared deceased a short time later.

2 year agoAround 8:40 this evening @kcmofiredept crews responded to 2 story with basement apartment fire at 3200 block of Independence Ave. Upon arrival, smoke and fire was showing to the rear of the building with trapped occupants. Crews did a great job rescuing 1 adults
